Childbirth made easier

• Midwife favorite

• Have a more comfortable labor and delivery

• Shorten recovery time

The inspiration for Gentle Birth Formula came from the aged pages of an old but wise midwifery guide, where it was used as a tea to tone the uterine muscles and help prepare the mother to give birth. This forgotten but timeless medicinal recipe was brought to life again in 2001, tested and updated to reflect what modern research has taught us about the safe use herbs.

These herbs were used to make beautiful golden extracts were made and combined to create an easy to take, quickly absorbed, liquid formulation to help your body be at its best when labor starts.

Perceived benefits include an easier, shorter, and more comfortable labor and delivery, plus a shorter recovery time.

Gentle Birth Formula has become a favorite of midwives who attend home births and even doctors comment on the smooth and easy deliveries mothers experience who use it. Today it's used in many countries around the world, including Canada, Europe, Asia, Central and South America and Australia.

Ingredients

  • Skullcap herb (Scutellaria lateriflora) : This herb is best known for its ability to calm the nerves. It is also a good source of calcium, magnesium, and silicon.

  • Bayberry bark (Morella cerifera) : The health benefits of bayberry are primarily due to its astringent effects. This herb is commonly used to support the digestive system and respiratory system as well as healthy inflammation management and menstrual health support.

  • Blessed Thistle herb (Cnicus benedictus) : Blessed thistle contains bitter compounds that support the production of both saliva and gastric acid, which both aid digestion. It is also used as an herbal galactagogue, which increases the flow of breast milk.

  • False Unicorn root (Chamaelirium luteum) : This herb is prized by herbalists to balance hormones and enhance uterine health. It may provide support and comfort during menstruation, as well as encourage and on-time labor and delivery. False Unicorn root has a normalizing effect on the ovaries and may support healthy fluid balance in late-term pregnancy.

  • Ginger root (Zingiber officinale) : Ginger is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful health benefits, including digestive support, inflammation and antioxidant support, cardiovascular support, and overall healthy cell support.

  • Motherwort herb (Leonurus cardiaca) : In addition to being a source of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, motherwort contains leonurine, a compound being studied for the support of blood vessel walls. This is the same substance that has been shown to encourage uterine contractions.

  • Partridge Berry herb (Mitchell repens) : This herb is most often used as a tonic for all of the organs of female reproduction. It helps to support a normal blood flow during menstruation and childbirth, tones the uterus helping it to maintain its proper function, and encourages swift labor and delivery.

  • Red Raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus) : Red raspberry leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals. They provide B vitamins, vitamin C, and a number of minerals, including potassium, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, and iron. Red raspberry leaves contain fragarine, a plant compound that helps tone and tighten muscles in the pelvic area, which may reduce the menstrual cramping caused by the spasms of these muscles.
